Jewelry Care
GILDING
Since the jewelry is not entirely made of solid gold, it is important to follow these practical care methods to maintain the shine of your gold-plated jewelry and maximize its lifespan.
- Avoid contact between your jewelry and perfume, makeup, body oils, sunscreens and lotions.
- Do not wear your jewelry while sleeping, swimming or exercising.
- Remove plated jewelry before washing your hands or swimming.
- Keep your jewelry separate and in its original packaging to avoid damage or scratches.
- To prevent tarnishing or oxidation, keep your jewelry away from direct sunlight, in a dark, cool, and dry place.
- Make sure your chains and bracelets are fastened to prevent them from getting tangled.
STERLING SILVER
Over time and with wear, your silver jewelry may lose its original shine. To restore and preserve its shine, you can clean it with a soft, non-abrasive cloth. You can also wash it with warm water and mild soap using a soft toothbrush. We recommend avoiding the use of jewelry polishing products, as they generally contain abrasives that can seriously damage your jewelry.
STONES & GEMS
Stones, whether natural or precious, can be fragile. Avoid using paper towels to clean your gemstones, as they can scratch them. To keep your stones clean and shiny, lightly scrub them with a soft-bristled brush, warm water, and detergent-free soap. Avoid harsh chemicals and excessive temperatures while cleaning. When not wearing them, store them in a safe, dry place to protect them from the elements they are exposed to daily.
